A bumbling, oblivious dad perpetually stuck in 1964, a passive-aggressive somewhat-lapsed Catholic mom who repairs antique dolls for a living, and I'd be the quirky protagonist who narrates each episode in a Daria-like monotone and sighs at how pointless it all is.
