Upon rewatching Thor: The Dark World

Actually, about those superhero movies

...I should really get an icon. At least one.

So I wasn't into the MCU this time a month ago. I'd seen the movies, liked them fine--but none of them really pinged for me other than the first Iron Man and The Avengers. Fairly typical response from casual watchers, I've heard. Also, parts of the fandom *coughspecificallyLoki'scough* really annoyed me.

However, round abouts the middle of March Moonbeam (the GF) started working on a comic book project and thus started gravitating towards current comic book movies, especially the ones in the MCU. Basically what happened was this:

Moonbeam: !!!Marvel
Me: eh, Marvel
Documentary about the creation of the MCU and plans for the future: !!!Marvel
Me: Oh! !!!Marvel
Moonbeam: Yes, !!!Marvel
Me: NO YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND, !!!MARVEL!!!

...And that was before I saw Captain America 2.
